My therapeutic approach
The type of therapy I provide is psychodynamic and person-centered therapy based on the principles of classical and modern psychoanalytic thought and literature. I love learning and do my best to synthesis from the worlds of science, spirituality, nature, humanity and humor. With a degree in English Literature, I developed a love of words, poetry and stories. And with a graduate degree in social work, I broadened my scope of learning to include social sciences, psychology, anthropology and culture. Together, they have assimulated into a passion for people and places, personal stories and the beauty of suffering and hope, darkness and light. Without one, we cannot know the other.
My life experiences combined with my practical and educational knowledge meld together in the therapy “virtual living room” to provide you with a safe place where you can continue on the journey of self discovery and recovery of your brightest self, so that you can repair and accept all of you…. a starting place for good things to come, for dreams to feel attainable and for relationship with self and others to be expansive.
Whatever your symptoms, they are a signal of an underlying clue of what you feel and believe. The roadmap is unique to you but together we can go through the trails of your life to decode the painful experiences and upload new pathways for growth and expansiveness.
